    Overview

    Snaile is a smart parcel locker system for contactless parcel pickup by residents.

    The BuildingLink-Snaile integration allows for the sync of Snaile locker parcel information with BuildingLink. This integration enables residents to retrieve their parcel using a QR Code provided by email/SMS and the BuildingLink Resident App.

    AnchorGeneral Information

    This integration allows residents to pick up their parcels directly from a locker. Once a parcel is stored inside a locker:

    • The parcel will be saved in the Event Log in pink with the label, "Lockers".


    • Depending on the notification settings for your property, residents may receive an email and/or SMS notification containing the following information:

    Locker PIN | Link to QR Code | Locker Location

    • [Locker PIN] - the PIN used to retrieve a parcel.

    • [Link to QR Code] - a link to the QR code that when scanned, will unlock the locker.

    • [Locker Location] - the location of the parcel.

    For example, the resident would receive the below email, notifying them that a parcel is available for pickup:


    If the resident has opted in to receive SMS notifications from BuildingLink for new events, they will also receive the Snaile information via text message:

    Depending on the Snaile setup for your property, reminder notifications can be sent via Email and/or SMS at a specified interval.

    Residents will also be able to locate and pick up their parcel using the BuildingLink Resident App. More details below.

    Please Note: The appearance of the "Deliveries" option is customizable and may appear differently on the BuildingLink Resident App for your property.

    • Locate and tap on the QR Code link for the parcel.

    Please Note: The QR Code link will open in the default browser of the mobile device.

    • Scan the QR Code at the Snaile terminal or enter the PIN to retrieve the parcel.
