Enabling the Dymo for Event Types
To use the Dymo with the Event Log to print ID badges/labels for employees, residents, visitors, packages, etc., a user with Management or Security Officer authority must enable this setting by clicking the Settings button at the top of the Event log and clicking on Event types. Next, click on the event type you want to change. Check the box next to Print label, then choose the label format, whether to print automatically, and the unit information that should print on the label (for more details, see the Event Log Settings article).
To see examples of the different label formats, click here.
Remember to click Save when you're done.
Using the Dymo with the Event Log
Go to the Front Desk tab and select Event log to use the Dymo while recording a new event. Click Record event in the upper right corner.
Next, fill out the form from top to bottom (for more details on recording a new event, see our Event Log article). If label printing is enabled for the event, you will see the option listed under the Event type field. Depending on the Event Type settings, the box will be checked off automatically, or you may need to check the box manually.
