Equipment Overview
The Ambir License Scanner allows you to scan a copy of a contractor or visitor's driver's license whenever a contractor or visitor comes in to the building. This will be searchable through the Event Log.
Installing the Ambir License Scanner
The Ambir scanner should be installed through our Connector app. To install your Ambir scanner, visit Installing and Troubleshooting Peripherals with Connector. Once installed, be sure to connect your scanner to the computer by plugging it into a USB port.
Calibrating the Ambir License Scanner
The scanner must be calibrated before it can function properly. Calibration sheets are included in your Ambir box.If you have misplaced your calibration card, or have any additional questions, please visit the Ambir website by clicking here.
