Overview
The purpose of this training is to work with Management to teach basic manager-level functionality such as updating occupant information, uploading to the library, sending emergency broadcasts, etc.

Management Functionality
This document will outline the specific modules covered during a management training session and includes links to relevant help site articles so you may benefit from our self-learning tools at your own pace. Note: availability and/or functionality of the features below may vary, depending on your property’s setup.
- Logging In: Users may log in from www.buildinglink.com or via their property’s unique URL. Your username and password is valid for both the BuildingLink website and GEO mobile app. Click the “Forgot Username/Password?” link to reset your password if needed.
- Dashboard: The home screen employees see upon login. The dashboard gives a quick overview of all the important information pertaining to the property (such as reservations waiting to be approved, calendar events happening today, announcements, etc.)
- Move In/Move Out: how to update your BuildingLink system when people move in or out of the building or if resident information changes.
- Custom Fields: a convenient way to track information that doesn’t fit into the standard Unit Profile or Occupant fields.
- Filtered Groups: allows you to create specialized, dynamic groups of occupants - for the purpose of sending targeted emails - based on location, custom field information, data in the Pet Registry, and/or occupant type.
- Building Calendar: keep track of building events, meetings, classes, and a whole lot more.
- Reservations Calendar: allows you to track and coordinate amenity reservations at your building. You can allow your residents to submit reservation requests for physical amenities appointment times, elevator reservations etc.
- Library: allows users to store and share building-related documents (such as forms, notices, policies, or newsletters) with residents and staff.
- Send Email: allows you to send emails to building staff, management, and residents.
- Emergency Broadcast (Security Officers Only): allows you to communicate with your residents or other groups by sending them a Voice Message and/or an SMS Message
