Note: This article is for the newly redesigned module. This updated module is in the process of being rolled out and may only be available to some users.
The Benefits: The updated list view presents information on the page more clearly and eliminates redundant clicks.
The Updates: A new, always visible "Description" column displays the comments entered for reservations. Click anywhere on a reservation to open the reservation details. Search filters update in real time, eliminating the need to click a "Search" button. With the new Reservation list, we've also introduced the option to search using one date. This is particularly beneficial to properties with amenity reservations spanning across multiple days.

Q: How is filtering by date different?
A: You can input both a start & end date or one date in the date fields.
When there is a start date entered, and the end date is blank, multiday reservations that begin on that date & any single day reservations will appear in the list.
When there is both a start and end date, all reservations that occur within the date range will appear in the list.
When the start date is blank and there is an end date, only multiday reservations that end on that date will appear in the list (this is helpful in pulling check out dates for guest suites).
When the start and end dates are both empty, no reservations will show.
Q: Where is the checkbox to “Include Comments”?
A: No more checkbox! On the new page, we added the “Description” column, which is always visible and contains the same info as clicking “include comments” in the previous version.

Q: How do I “Search”?
A: On the new page, the search filters update automatically in real-time. There is no need to click “search”. The filters work as you select them.
Q: Where is the Excel/PDF export?
A: Short-answer, it doesn’t exist in the new Reservation List. The longer answer, the previous version included three different export/print options: Print Friendly (which we rebuilt), Excel, and PDF. In reviewing page analytics, we saw that the Excel and PDF were very lightly used. Therefore, we opted not to spend time rebuilding the Excel and PDF export functions until we better understand the use case where they are needed. Selecting your content > copying > pasting the List into a spreadsheet is effective if needed as a workaround.

Q: Where is the “View/Edit” column? How do I open a reservation to see all details or make changes?
A: Click anywhere in the row to view and edit reservations, (same functionality as before). The “View/Edit” column was redundant and took up valuable real estate on the page!
