Below you will find solutions to the 2 most common "Drawer Disconnected" scenarios. If you try these solutions and are still having issues, please contact BuildingLink Support during business hours. My Drawer’s Red Light is Flashing, and the Screen Says Drawer Disconnected.

1. Unplug the drawer's USB cable from the USB hub and plug it into a different USB port.

The drawer's USB cable has retention screws at both ends that can be screwed into the drawer and the provided USB hub. In theory, when plugged in properly, this ensures that the cable is not accidentally disconnected, however you can move the cable to a different working USB port and see if the drawer reconnects.

2. You can also try powering the drawer off then, back on via the drawer's green power switch on the rear.

3. You can restart the KeyLink application or restart the PC to re-enable connectivity to the drawer.

My Screen Says Drawer Disconnected and the Drawer is Not Flashing a Red Light.

If your drawer is showing as disconnected and there is no red light flashing on the front, check that the drawer's green power switch is in the ON position. 

 

Next, check that the drawer's power cord is securely inserted at the rear of the drawer and plugged into a working power outlet. Be sure to try a different working power outlet directly on the wall as well.
