On this page, you'll find a summary of the KeyLink Implementation process along with instructions and videos on how to set up your physical KeyLink system. To download a copy of the KeyLink Product Specifications & Setup Guide, click here. Once your drawer(s) and computer are connected to the internet, please schedule your initial KeyLink Setup Call using the link provided in your email. If you're using your own computer (not supplied by BuildingLink), then you can go to our Configuring KeyLink Settings article next. If you have questions about your KeyLink order or setup, please contact BuildingLink Support.

KeyLink System Components
Every KeyLink System comes with required and optional components. Before setting up your KeyLink System you need to open the box and confirm that you have all the required components listed below. If you are missing any of these items, especially the Emergency Fob or the Manual Override Key, please contact BuildingLink Support.
Standard Components
- All-In-One Touch Screen Computer
- KeyLink Drawer(s)
- Heavy Duty Fingerprint Scanner (Used for authentication to unlock the drawer(s))
- UBS Hub
- SmartTags
- A bag of Rivets
- Red Emergency Fob (for access in case of a drawer disconnect mode)
- Manual Override Key (to unlock the back of the drawer in case of a power outage
- 2 Transporter KeyRing (in one box)
- Backup USB drive (local backup for map of drawers)
- Drawer Power Cord
- Drawer USB Cable
- Rivet Gun (Used with Rivets to attach keys to SmartTags)
- Rivet Cutter
- 2 L-Brackets (for securing purposes)
- 2 U-Brackets (for securing purposes)
