Overview

The Public Profile and My Neighbors section of NeighborNet allows you to list information about yourself for other residents to see. Even if this option is enabled for your building, your information will NOT be viewable by other residents unless your public profile is active.

Creating and Editing Your Public Profile

To create a public profile for other residents in your building to view, click on the My Public Profile button in the NeighborNet section of BuildingLink. Under Public profile, you'll see an option to click the box next to Enable my public profile.

After clicking the box next to Enable my public profile, you will be able to edit your profile information for display. You can enter as much or as little information about yourself as you’d like. When you’re done, make sure to click Save at the bottom of the page.

Disabling Your Public Profile

When you first log in to BuildingLink, you'll be prompted to opt in/out of your Public Profile and choose what information you would like to display to your neighbors.

If you already have an active profile but would like to deactivate it, go to your BuildingLink homepage and select My Public Profile. Then, click the box next to Enable my public profile so it is no longer selected.

Viewing Your Neighbors

To view residents in your building who have created a Public Profile, go to your BuildingLink homepage and select My Neighbors.  On the Neighbors screen, you’ll be able to view a directory of all residents who have created a Public Profile.
